Vergne believes Red Bull drive is still within reach

Jean-Eric Vergne believes the possibility of him racing for Red Bull Racing in 2014 is still there and isn't out of reach just yet. The Frenchman – who currently races for sister team Toro Rosso – was removed from the equation as to who would partner Vettel at the Milton Keynes based squad in 2014 by Team Principal Christian Horner who said it was very much a two-horse race between Kimi Raikkonen and Vergne's team-mate Daniel Ricciardo. However Vergne still believes that he can drive for Red Bull and take over Mark Webber's seat in 2014. Speaking to AUTOSPORT at a World Series by Renault event where he was demonstrating a Red Bull F1 car he said: 'I still believe in my chances....
