Pirelli announce tyre choices

Pirelli have announced their choices of tyre compounds for the forthcoming races in Belgium, Italy and Singapore.As in 2012, the Italian manufacturer will bring the two hardest compounds in their range to Spa and Monza - the orange-marked hard and the white-marked medium. Whilst the two circuits are very different in nature, Pirelli feel the strains both place on the tyres mean these choices are necessary and not conservative. "Spa is the circuit that puts the highest vertical load on the front tyres all season, mainly due to Eau Rouge corner," their statement read.
