Pirelli reveals latest tyre choices
Pirelli has announced the tyre choices that will be available to teams for the F1 races in Belgium, Italy and Singapore.In Belgium, the longest and one of the fastest tracks of the year, teams will run with the two hardest tyres from the range – the hard and the medium. This is because Spa-Francorchamps puts the highest vertical load on the front tyres of all the circuits in the 2013 F1 schedule, mainly due to the famous Eau Rouge corner.For Pirelli's home race in Italy, the hard and the medium compounds will be used once more.“Whereas Spa is characterised by a lot of fast corners, Monza is all about high-speed straights.
