I will remain at McLaren, Button repeats

McLaren driver Jenson Button has insisted that he will be racing for the team next year, moving to clarify comments he made at last weekend's Belgian Grand Prix. Speaking at the Spa-Francorchamps event, Button revealed that the Woking-based outfit had yet to take up the option they had on him for the 2014 season, but the 2009 World Champion claims he was simply jesting with team boss Martin Whitmarsh. "That was very unfair of me, but I was just stating a fact," explained Button, who joined McLaren from Brawn GP back in 2010. "I'll be here for my future in Formula 1."
