Red Bull next to perform Pirelli test

Red Bull Racing have confirmed they will perform a private tyre test for Pirelli this week. Following Ferrari and Mercedes AMG earlier this season, the team will become the third team to try out tyres of the Italian F1 supplier. Red Bull will be allowed to run 1000 kilometers in Barcelona on Circuit de Catalunya. As Ferrari did early in the year, RBR will use a two-year old car, namely the championship winning Red Bull RB7 of 2011. Behind the wheel will be Daniel Ricciardo, the Australian that was announced last week a the team's new racing driver to partner Sebastian Vettel as of 2014.
