Perez expects a difficult run-in

Sergio Perez has warned that McLaren could find it difficult to score good points in this season's remaining races. Struggling for form this season, McLaren have spent this campaign trailing in the wake of Red Bull, Ferrari, Lotus and Mercedes. And Perez reckons it will be more of the same in the final seven races as the leading teams have a reason to continue to pushing hard as they are all involved in the Championship fight. "Obviously, the fight at the sharp end of the Championship means that the top three or four teams are still pushing hard to develop their current cars, whereas some of the others are looking more towards 2014," he explained.
