Magnussen on brink of title after dominant performance

World Series by Renault Kevin Magnussen dominated the penultimate round of the Formula Renault 3.5 Series at Paul Ricard in France to stand on the brink of the title. Magnussen, part of McLaren's young driver scheme, secured both pole positions and stormed to victories in the two races. But a technical infringement on his DAMS car meant that he was excluded from the results. DAMS intends to appeal the disqualification. Magnussen's misfortune handed victory to Red Bull youngster Antonio Felix da Costa, for his third win of the season. Magnussen bounced back and controlled the second race, meaning that he heads to the finale in Barcelona with a 43 point lead over fellow McLaren youngster...
