P3: Webber heads Mercedes duo
Mark Webber was fastest in final practice for the Japanese GP ahead of Mercedes pair Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg.Webber lapped the 5.807km Suzuka track in a time of 1:32.053s to go 0.134s faster than Hamilton, with Rosberg a tenth or so further back.
However, Webber's team-mate Sebastian Vettel was unable to undertake a qualifying practice run ahead of Saturday afternoon's all-important session after his Red Bull suffered a KERS problem.
Vettel therefore ended the session ninth fastest overall, with Romain Grosjean (Lotus), Fernando Alonso (Ferrari), Felipe Massa (Ferrari), Jenson Button (McLaren) and Kimi Raikkonen (Lotus) all faster.
