Kubica: F1 return nearly impossible
Robert Kubica admits that returning to Formula 1 is a "nearly impossible" ambition, given the lasting physical limitations from his life-threatening rally crash in 2011. The 28-year-old Pole has since recovered sufficiently to compete in rallying again, taking five victories en route to this year's WRC2 crown. But although a Formula 1 comeback is still his dream, he is remaining realistic about his current condition. "I would be able to drive an F1 car on one or two circuits for testing," Kubica said during a BBC interview. "But it doesn't make sense to test for a day if I cannot race."
