Kvyat impresses on Toro Rosso debut

Danill Kvyat “enjoyed every single moment” of his first appearance for the Toro Rosso in the opening practice session ahead of the United States Grand Prix. Kvyat, who will fill the seat at Toro Rosso made vacant by Daniel Ricciardo’s move to Red Bull in 2014, had his first experience of being involved in an official Formula One session, having only been granted his super license earlier this week. The 19-year-old, who stood-in for Jean-Eric Vergne, finished the disrupted first practice session 17th fastest, just over a tenth slower than Ricciardo. “I enjoyed every single moment of driving the track even though there was a delay because of the fog and then a red flag”, beamed...
