Ecclestone: Alonso gave up a little bit in 2013
F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone has expressed his 'disappointment' with Fernando Alonso and believes the Spaniard 'gave up a little bit' during the course of the 2013 F1 season.Alonso eventually finished runner-up to Sebastian Vettel, but the margin between the two was substantial – 397 points versus 242 – and relations between Alonso and the Scuderia were rather strained at times.
