FIA confirm Todt re-election

Jean Todt will remain president of the FIA after being voted in for another term in office on Friday in Paris. It will be the Frenchman's second term as FIA president after succeeding Max Mosley at the end of 2009. It was confirmed on the final day of the FIA's Annual General Assembly and ensures he will remain as president for another four years. There were no abstentions and it was a unanimous vote to re-elect Todt. He stood unopposed after his main challenger David Ward withdrew from the election last month, as he failed to secure the necessary support to launch his campaign.
