'Merc poach two key Red Bull figures'

Mercedes have reportedly lured two key engineering figures from Red Bull, but they will only join the team in the middle of 2014. Germany's Bild claims that Mark Ellis, the chief engineer of vehicle dynamics, and chief engineer simulation/analysis Giles Wood will join the Brackley-based squad in June next year. It is another setback for the four-time World Champions as they will also lose leading aerodynamicist Peter Prodromou, who was the right-hand man of design guru Adrian Newey, to McLaren.
