Chilton thrilled despite narrowly missing Q2 berth

– British racer Max Chilton says he is pleased with his performance during qualifying for the Australian Grand Prix after narrowly missing out on progression through to the second knockout segment. Chilton, entering his second year with Marussia, set the 17th fastest time before wet weather struck the circuit. "I was really pleased with my lap on the opening run and felt that a few issues from FP3 had really come together," he said. "Bar one small mistake it was a clean lap.
