Stewards clear Kobayashi over first lap crash

Caterham F1 Team Kamui Kobayashi has been cleared by the race stewards of wrongdoing after the Japanese driver hit Felipe Massa at the first turn in the Australian Grand Prix. Kobayashi hit the back of Massa's Williams but a brake problem meant that the driver was a passenger in a collision which forced both drivers out of the race. "That isn’t how I wanted my first race back to go, and I’m sorry for the team and for Felipe that both our races ended early," he said. "I had a really good start but then into turn one I made contact with Felipe.
