Perez hoping Bahrain can improve F1 show

Sahara Force India driver Sergio Perez remains hopeful the Bahrain Grand Prix can help turn around the perception of Formula 1 in 2014 after branding last week's Malaysian Grand Prix as 'boring'.The Mexican failed to start the race in Sepang – where he famously almost won for Sauber in 2012 – after his Mercedes-powered car developed technical issues, allowing him the perspective of watching the entire race as a spectator.With this in mind, Perez says the dominant performance by Mercedes made it a boring race, though he did suggest the Malaysian circuit itself may have also been a factor.“Malaysia for me was quite a boring one," he said.
