Mercedes clean sweeps practice, Vettel spins out

Lewis Hamilton kept Mercedes on the top of the time sheets for the third straight practice session ahead of teammate Nico Rosberg stamping the team’s authority at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Hamilton has been consistently ahead of Rosberg all weekend marking the Briton as favourite for his third straight pole position of the season during qualifying later in the day. World champion Sebastian Vettel’s session ended 20 minutes early after he took a bit too much kerb at the exit of Turn 2 and spun out into the gravel. The Red Bull driver featured 21st in the charts.
