Pirelli Happy after First In-Season Tyre Test
Formula 1’s sole tyre provider Pirelli completed its first in-season test with the current 2014 cars in Bahrain. Over 250 experimental tyres were brought to the track, with them being designed with a view to them being used during the 2015 Formula 1 season.
The regulations were changed for this year to enable the tyre manufacturer to run a day with every team in the paddock. Caterham were the first team to run with Pirelli on day one, while Mercedes and Williams both were running with them on day two.
The rest of the teams will have test days with Pirelli of there own in post-race tests in Spain where Sauber and Toro Rosso will run on day 1; Force India and McLaren on day two, while at...
