Lotus to pay homage to El Greco

– Lotus will pay homage to Spanish painter El Greco by running a commemorative livery during next weekend's Spanish Grand Prix. The E22 will feature a special livery to pay tribute to the Spanish Renaissance painter on the 400th anniversary of his death. "This is the first time a Formula 1 team has publicised a Spanish cultural event so prominently," said team owner Gérard Lopez, who came up with the idea. "We will promote the El Greco exhibition – for no commercial fee - to a global TV audience of over 600 million people.
