Rosberg under investigation

The Mercedes driver, who was fastest at the time, ran off the track onto a run-off area at Mirabeau before reserving back onto the circuit. Yellow flags meant that teammate Lewis Hamilton, who was on a fast lap, was prevented from improving on his fastest lap to potentially take pole.
