Alonso hails Monaco importance
Fernando Alonso admitted that this weekend's Canadian Grand Prix is an "important" race Ferrari, adding that the Maranello team needs to develop its car faster than their rivals are doing.
For most of the 2014 Formula One season to date, Ferrari have struggled to keep up with Mercedes and even Red Bull, with Alonso claiming Scuderia's only podium of the season when he finished in third place in Shanghai.
After Alonso finished fourth in Monaco a fortnight ago, the two-time World Champion made a trip to the team's factory in Maranello and he is excited by what he saw there.
