Horner: Ricciardo fully deserved Canada win

– Red Bull Team Principal Christian Horner believes Daniel Ricciardo 'fully deserved' to win the Canadian Grand Prix last weekend and he has said the Australian has been 'phenomenal' since joining the team over the winter.Some questioned the decision last September to promote the 24-year-old, especially as 2017 F1 World Champion Kimi Räikkönen was also an option.However, Ricciardo has more than proved the doubters wrong this season and he got to stand on the podium for the third race in succession in Montreal, off the back of two P3 finishes in Monaco and Spain."An amazing race today and what an amazing race for Daniel to win his first Grand Prix.
