Rosberg: I need to find more lap time
Nico Rosberg feels he needs to find some more lap time after being beaten by Lewis Hamilton in FP2 for the Austrian Grand Prix. Having been quickest in FP1, Rosberg was at one stage over 0.8s slower than Hamilton on the supersoft tyre before he closed the gap to just over 0.3s later in the session. Having been animated over team radio at one stage, Rosberg was asked if there was any tension during practice but said it was simply the culmination of things not going perfectly. “I was cool as a cucumber, no tension!” Rosberg said. “We were just working through everything and trying to optimise everything for tomorrow and there were a few things that weren't ideal.
