FIA issues track limits warning before qualifying

– Charlie Whiting has issued a track limits warning ahead of qualifying for the British Grand Prix.Formula 1's Race Director says there will be a "zero tolerance" approach to cars leaving the track at Turns 9 (Copse) and 18 (Club), following the drivers' meeting that took place at Silverstone on Saturday evening.Unless there is a valid reason, such as a rival forcing them wide, Whiting has made clear that all lap times recorded by running wide will be deleted in accordance with Article 12.3.1.d of the Sporting Code.In the race, drivers who gain a clear advantage or repeatedly offend will be reported to the stewards.
