Ferrari has made aerodynamic progress - Mattiacci
Sutton Images Enlarge Marco Mattiacci insists Ferrari has made enough progress on the aerodynamic side in recent races to give the team a "good starting point" for the second half of the season. Since replacing Stefano Domenicali as team principal in April Mattiacci's arrival has not sparked a drastic turnaround in fortunes at Maranello, with the team yet to replicate its podium finish from his first weekend in charge at the Chinese Grand Prix. After Silverstone Fernando Alonso complained aerodynamics was one area which prevented him from overcoming Sebastian Vettel in their battle for fifth, but Mattiacci thinks there has been progress made.
