Vettel denies Bulls are closing up

Sebastian Vettel has refuted suggestions that Red Bull have made any great inroads into Mercedes' advantage, saying it is as big as it was at "race one." Mercedes have dominated this year's Championship, taking eight wins from nine grands prix including six 1-2 results. The team has a comfortable 158-point lead in the Constructors' Championship while Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton are racing away with the Drivers' title. But despite trailing Mercedes in both Championships, Red Bull have spoken in recent weeks about finding more speed and closing the gap. Vettel, though, says that hasn't really happened.
