Kobayashi ‘ready to fight back’
Kamui Kobayashi says he is “ready to fight back” in the German Grand Prix after a disappointing weekend at Silverstone. Having been hampered by problems during both practice and qualifying, Kobayashi was then lucky to avoid Kimi Raikkonen during his big crash on the opening lap of the race. However, while he continued, Kobayashi said the car had sustained damage which made it impossible to try and fight Marussia but he hopes to be more competitive this weekend at Hockenheim. “For us this will be another race where we aim to fight back against our nearest rivals,” Kobayashi said. “We did not see the full performance of the cars in Silverstone for various reasons, particularly for...
