Maldonado confident of Lotus points challenge
– Pastor Maldonado is confident that Lotus can start to challenge for points again across the second half of the 2014 season, starting in Belgium next weekend.Maldonado has not finished in the top 10 of a Formula 1 race in over a year and has been hindered by the difficulties Lotus has faced with its E22.But the Venezuelan is sure that, assuming the team can get on top of its problems, he can challenge for the points paying positions at Spa-Francorchamps."If we can have a clean weekend technically, without any power unit or other issues, then we will be in a good position to challenge for points," he said."Spa always throws up some variables with the weather being the...
