Vettel fears penalties towards the end of the season
Reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel has expressed a fear that both he and team-mate Daniel Ricciardo will begin to receive penalties towards the end of the season, due to their poor reliability throughout the first half of the season.
After being struck with numerous mechanical gremlins during the early stages of the season, both Red Bull drivers’ currently have only one more ICE [Internal Combustion Engine] and MGU-K [Motor Generator Unit - Kinetic] units apiece, with the reigning World Champion in particular also only having one TC [Turbo Charger], MGU-H [Motor Generator Unit - Heat] and CE [Control Electronics] remaining.
