Chilton unhappy with rumours
Max Chilton says there have been a number of rumours surrounding his situation at Marussia which are untrue, but is unable to explain what was behind his initial replacement at the team. Alexander Rossi was announced as replacing Chilton for the Belgian Grand Prix on Thursday, with Marussia citing “contractual issues” as the reason. Chilton's management then issued a statement saying that he had “volunteered” to move aside in order to “allow the team to attract much needed funds by selling his seat”.
