Rosberg booed, blamed for collision with Hamilton

Last year Sebastian Vettel absorbed the wrath of the fans for being successful. This season, compatriot Nico Rosberg has taken the baton. The Mercedes driver extended his championship lead to 29 points after he was involved in a tussle with title rival and teammate Lewis Hamilton on the second lap of the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday, which dropped the Briton to the back of the field due to resultant puncture. Rosberg, who clipped Hamilton when attempting to pass, lost a part of his front wing and continued – although he struggled a bit with a partial loss of downforce.
