Ecclestone: Greece keen on F1 race

Bernie Ecclestone has revealed that Greece remain keen on joining the Formula One calendar. The European country first revealed a proposal to host an F1 race back in 2012, but things went quiet after that as they went through an economic crisis. However, it appears the plans are not dead in the water with the sport's commercial rights holder Ecclestone confirming they are still interested. "The Greeks are keen," Ecclestone told CNN. "They want me to go and see the Prime Minister [Antonis Samaras] or the mayor. "We will have to find out if they have got any money."
