Alonso expects 'uphill' race at Monza
– Fernando Alonso has warned Ferrari faces another "defensive" and "uphill" race at Monza this weekend.The Spaniard will be keen to pull something special out of the bag during the Italian Grand Prix, the Scuderia's home race. However, he knows it will be far from easy and that getting on the podium will be a major achievement - something he has achieved just twice this season, in China and Hungary."We must try and have our best race of the year in front of the home crowd," he told Ferrari's official website."We know what a great experience it is to stand on the podium at Monza, seeing the straight packed with people.
