Hamilton fastest in Italian Grand Prix practice one

MONZA, September 5th, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Lewis Hamilton topped timesheets in first practice for the Italian Grand Prix while McLaren and Ferrari put in a strong showing. Hamilton filed a fastest lap time of 1:26.187, over half a second quicker than the second fastest man, Jenson Button. Button hasn’t finished second in any session since FP1 in Spain. Nico Rosberg was third fastest, 0.808s behind teammate Hamilton. Fernando Alonso put in a good performance in front of the team’s home crowd, finishing the session fourth fastest.
