Kaltenborn unable to confirm Sauber s future
Monisha Kaltenborn could not guarantee that Sauber will be on the grid next year, amid comments from Bernie Ecclestone that F1 could see eight three-car teams. Sauber is one of a number of teams which have been struggling financially in recent seasons and currently sits tenth in the constructors' championship having yet to score a point this year. Following Ecclestone's comments, when asked if she could categorically confirm that Sauber will be on the grid in 2015, Kaltenborn replied: "We plan to be on the grid next year. “As Sauber.” And Kaltenborn admitted it is “challenging” for the team to try and find the budget to compete in F1 following the change in regulations....
