Renault report from Singapore qualifying

Daniel Ricciardo was best of the Renault posse Infiniti Red Bull Racing locked out the second row of qualifying for tomorrow’s Singapore Grand Prix. Daniel Ricciardo was knocked off the top spot by the two Mercedes by the narrowest of margins : just one tenth of a second. Team-mate Sebastian Vettel was one tenth further adrift in one of the tightest sessions of the year. Daniil Kvyat made it three Renault-powered cars in the top ten and will start from tenth overall. Jean-Eric Vergne lines up 12th, with Romain Grosjean 16th and Pastor Maldonado 18th for Lotus F1 Team. The two Caterhams start 20th and 22nd for Kamui Kobayashi and Marcus Ericsson respectively.
