Caterham deny Pirelli rumours

Caterham have denied reports that they could be without tyres in Japan having failed to pay Pirelli. Dutch newspaper Die Telegraph recently claimed that Caterham have not paid Pirelli. The report added that, as a result, the Italian tyre manufacturer would be withholding tyres for next weekend's Japanese GP. Caterham boss Manfredi Ravetto has denied this. "It's just stupid," Ravetto to OmniCorse.it. "We will have Pirelli tyres like regular for Suzuka." The publication added that Pirelli had thrown their support behind Caterham's denial.
