Honda: McLaren not ready for driver announcement
Getty Images Enlarge Honda's head of motorsport Yasuhisa Arai says there has still been no decision on McLaren's 2015 driver-line up ahead of the Japanese Grand Prix. Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen, who are both out of contract at the end of 2014, are both being made to wait on new deals. McLaren is weighing up its options, with the team believed to have sounded out Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel, as it continues to pursue "the best drivers available". Though F1 heads to the Honda-owned Suzuka circuit Arai says other matters besides McLaren's 2015 driver line-up will be on the agenda for meetings between the team and the Japanese manufacturer.
