Massa ‘was already screaming’ for race to stop

Felipe Massa says he “was already screaming on the radio” that the Japanese Grand Prix should be stopped before Jules Bianchi's accident. Bianchi suffered a severe head injury in a crash as he hit a recovery vehicle that was trying to remove Adrian Sutil's stricken Sauber. Sutil had gone off at the same point of the track on the previous lap, and Massa believes the FIA allowed conditions to become “dangerous” before the accident occurred. “In my opinion they started the race too early because it was not driveable at the beginning and it finished too late,” Massa said. “I was already screaming on the radio five laps before the Safety Car that there was too much water on the...
