Bianchi suffers 'diffuse axonal injury'

Marussia F1 Team Marussia has confirmed that Jules Bianchi remains in a critical but stable condition in Intensive Care in hospital after suffering a 'diffuse axonal injury' in an accident at the Japanese Grand Prix. Bianchi struck a recovery vehicle which was clearing the crashed car of Adrian Sutil and was taken to the nearby Mie General Medical Center in Yokkaichi. On Tuesday afternoon Marussia released a statement on behalf of the Bianchi family and in conjunction with the hospital.
