Hamilton sets the pace in opening practice in Austin
Mercedes continued its domination of the season at the United States Grand Prix on Friday with yet another one-two in the first practice session as Lewis Hamilton led the times from teammate Nico Rosberg. Hamilton, currently leading the championship, was the only driver to set a time of under the 1 minute 40 second mark, nearly two-tenths quicker than title rival Rosberg. McLaren set competitive times with Jenson Button third and Kevin Magnussen fifth, with Toro Rosso driver Daniil Kvyat sandwiched between the two.
