Hamilton stays on top in second practice
– Lewis Hamilton remained at the top of the timesheets during second practice for the United States Grand Prix, although his margin over Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg was reduced to just 0.003 seconds.Having controlled the Medium-tyre runs, Hamilton produced a 1:39.085 on the Soft rubber to outpace Rosberg with both Pirelli compounds.It was not all plain sailing, however, with the pair reporting gearbox issues during their longer runs and Hamilton being called in 15 minutes from the end.Fernando Alonso finished third fastest for Ferrari, albeit more than a second adrift of both Silver Arrows machines.Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo bounced back from his FP1 issues to place fourth,...
