Lotus denies reports of possible US Grand Prix boycott

+ Lotus has comprehensively denied reports that it was planning a boycott of the United States Grand Prix, alongside Force Force India and Sauber. Reports surfaced late on Friday that the three teams had threatened to boycott this weekend’s race in Austin, in protest to the current financial difficulties wracking the sport, which saw Caterham and Marussia fall into administration in the last two weeks. While Lotus boss Gerard Lopez attacked the sport’s revenue distribution in a highly charged FIA press conference on Friday, he later dismissed the idea that his team were planning a boycott in the United States. “I've just found out about the story now, so my answer is no,” Lopez told...
