Alonso: Ferrari aware of engine risk

+ Fernando Alonso says Ferrari was aware that it might suffer an engine failure during practice for the Brazilian Grand Prix. Alonso’s power unit failed on the run down to Turn 4 late in second practice, with the Spaniard forced to park his car by the side of the circuit and run to collect an trackside extinguisher to put out the flames spilling from the rear of the Ferrari. “Today we knew that the power unit had reached the end of its cycle,” Alonso told reporters at the Interlagos circuit. “So there was a risk we wouldn't finish the second session, but this was part of the programme we have been on for a few races now. “It's always a shame not being able to use all the time...
