Red Bull to investigate Ricciardo retirement

Red Bull Racing will launch a full investigation into the cause of the suspension failure that forced Daniel Ricciardo to retire from the Brazilian Grand Prix. The Australian had been running in eighth position when the failure occurred at Turn 1 on lap 39, forcing Ricciardo to limp back to the pits. Originally diagnosed as a brake problem, the Milton Keynes outfit confirmed Ricciardo had suffered a front suspension failure with the cause unknown at this stage.
