Alonso hopes Button stays in Formula 1
– Fernando Alonso says fellow World Champion Jenson Button deserves to retain his place on the Formula 1 grid next season, describing the Briton as "a very talented driver" who is "good for the sport".With Alonso poised to return to McLaren for the 2015 campaign, the team would need to drop either Button or rookie team-mate Kevin Magnussen.Button impressed en route to fourth place in Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix, while Magnussen came home ninth after struggling with tyre degradation."Hopefully he [Button] will stay," two-time World Champion Alonso explained."He is a very talented driver, a great character and good person.
