Sainz hopes Red Bull test proved he's ready for F1
+ Carlos Sainz Jr is hopeful that his performance for Red Bull during Tuesday’s post-season test in Abu Dhabi proves he is ready for a seat at Toro Rosso in 2015.
Sainz Jr drove for Red Bull on the opening day of the testing at the Yas Marina Circuit as a prize for winning the 2014 Formula Renault 3.5 championship.
The Spaniard, who last tested for the team at the Young Driver Test in July 2013, ended the day fifth fastest.
“For me it was an incredible day, a day that I've been thinking about from the start of the Formula Renault 3.5 season knowing that this was the prize,” Sainz Jr told Crash.net.
