Button signs long-term deal

Jenson Button has stressed that the new McLaren-Honda partnership will need time to fulfil its potential after signing a two-year deal to stay on with the team.While Button's retention, announced on Thursday after an interminable delay, was not necessarily a surprise, the news that the veteran had put pen to paper on a multi-year contract was.
