Hamilton eyes another seven years in F1

Lewis Hamilton says he sees himself doing “another seven years in F1” off the back of his second drivers' championship. The 29-year-old secured his first title in 2008 in what was just his second season in the sport, and finally added to that tally this year. Speaking after winning the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award, Hamilton said he expects to race until he is 36, taking him up to the end of the 2021 season. "I feel like I've got another seven years in F1," Hamilton told BBC Sport. "That's the goal. I got the first title in 2008 and now a second title, so the sky is the limit from here.
