Wolff: Spa clash allowed Mercedes to clear air
– Mercedes boss Toto Wolff says the clash between Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton at the Belgian Grand Prix allowed him to "clear the air" for the rest of the 2014 season.Tensions steadily grew between Rosberg and Hamilton as it became evident that they would be the only two drivers involved in the fight for this year's World Championship.And it came to a head at Spa-Francorchamps, when Rosberg clipped the rear of Hamilton's car, inflicting a left-rear puncture on his team-mate.While the immediate post-race situation marked a new low for intra-team relations, Wolff says the squad entered the remaining rounds as a much stronger unit."Every single weekend we had new...
